Brendan McDowell is a Lakewood Ranch, FL-based tech enthusiast with an affection for food, a love of music, and an admiration for automobiles. Brendan loves traveling with his wife and daughter, working on projects around the house, photography, and blogging.

Brendan works in Enterprise Architecture at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Before Moffitt, he managed Imaging Informatics for Universal Health Services (UHS of Delaware), overseeing cardiology and radiology at Bradenton Cardiology Center, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Diagnostic Center, and Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.
In his free time, Brendan enjoys applying strategic planning and technology experience to implement initiatives that improve client satisfaction and drive growth and operational excellence for his wife’s law practice – McNary Powers, PLLC.

Pancreatic Cancer Advocacy
There are no early detection methods for pancreatic cancer. It is currently the 3rd leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States after lung and colon. In August of 2000, Brendan’s father, Timothy, suddenly passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 49. Since then, Brendan has been determined to help educate people on this little-known, deadly disease.
